The helping professional - teacher, nurse, therapist, and clergy - and caregivers at home who work deeply with human beings know that heart-centered work can be difficult to sustain without good support. This work can be personally fulfilling or leave us feeling isolated, exhausted, disillusioned, and physically ill.
- reflect on personal experience with heart-centered work noticing recurring patterns
- practice methods of care, ie. contemplation, movement, creativity, writing
- choose that which enriches the wisdom of self-care

The Spritual Center welcomes members of religious congregations to spend personal time for rest and relaxation among the beautiful mountains of northern New Jersey. Vacationers can visit Ringwood State Park and Skylands Manor enjoying walking trails and the botanical gardens. Birds abound in these wooded areas and deer graze freely in the open fields.
Swimming in our Olympic size pool or just sitting by the lake is refreshing for the mind and body.
Daily liturgy and meals are available. All the facilities are fully air-conditioned.
Neighboring points of interest and easy access to Manhattan provide additional opportunities according to your personal preference.
Reservations are limited to religious because of our tax-exempt status.
